To address the many requests for tutorials, I did not invent the folding technique used for this book. This structure is commonly referred to as the 'star book' and I learned it in my bookbinding class. I came up with the idea of turning it into a daisy and did this by rounding off the corners and using more pages (9) instead of the usual 5 or 6.
There are many tutorials online that you can find if you want to learn how to make your own star book. These are the best ones that I had found:

Thank you Ciaee so much for the tip I will buy one, I made everythink right the 9 petals, the braid and the cover, now I know about the holes the only doubt is if you glue a ribbon in the covers to keep it together like the tutorial? because just with the braid doesn't work
Hey, I didn't use a ribbon like in the tutorials although I'd imagine the ribbon to work just as well, if not even better. I merely punched a hole in both the top and bottom covers and braided a string onto each cover.
